162-0

162-0 is a fan-made baseball roster-construction game. It's an independent project, not affiliated with Major League Baseball or any team.

The concept is borrowed — with gratitude — from the basketball game 82-0. The slot machine, the all-decades roster, the one-shortfall-loses-it-all sim — all of it owes its shape to the original. Thanks to the 82-0 team for inventing such a sticky little game. Baseball needs different machinery — two-way roster, more positions, longer season — but the question is the same: can your imagined team go undefeated?

Player data comes from the Lahman Baseball Database, 2025 edition — qualifying seasons from 1960 through 2025. OPS+ and ERA+ are computed from league-year averages baked into the same dataset.

Found a bug, a missing player, or want a feature? The simulation thresholds, position eligibility, and slot machine are all calibrated choices — feedback welcome.
